Se os vícios da binariedade nos aprisionam em números inteiros, fechados, matematicamente belos e perfeitamente divísiveis, a EXOTIKA prefere preocupar-se com sistemas decimais, onde o todo se forma através da soma e relação entre as partes. Para 2026, aprendemos com ciborgues – especialistas em reinícios e renascimentos – a reformatar a nossa interface e, na mistura entre o tecnológico e a carne, a reforçar o nosso projeto de um espaço que convida a explorar frações de nós, extensões biónicas ou metafísicas dos nossos corpos. Os cabos e fios estão ligados e o nosso circuito já tem data marcada para entrar em loop. No bar, Cativo e Kemetic aquecem o sistema; na disco, MEIBI, SALOME e Saint Caboclo convocam indisciplina para habitar o excesso. As performances de Samba, Malia Imaan, Nono Carneiro e 420Bombshell e a instalação de vídeo de Rui Palma relembram-nos que aqui, nada é inteiro sozinho: tudo se constrói na conexão, nos nós imperfeitos e emaranhados dos nossos sistemas hedónicos. Texto por: António Figueira // If the vices of binarity imprison us in whole numbers, closed, mathematically beautiful and perfectly divisible, EXOTIKA chooses to think in decimal systems, where the whole is formed through the sum and the relationship between parts. For 2026, we learn from cyborgs — specialists in restarts and rebirths — how to reformat our interface and, in the friction between technology and flesh, to reinforce our project of a space that invites the exploration of fractions of ourselves: bionic or metaphysical extensions of our bodies. The cables and wires are connected, and our circuit already has a date set to enter its loop. At the bar, Cativo and Kemetic warm up the system; on the groundfloor, MEIBI, SALOME and Saint Caboclo summon indiscipline to inhabit excess. The performances by Samba, Malia Imaan, Nono Carneiro and 420Bombshell, alongside Rui Palma’s video installation, remind us that here nothing is whole on its own: everything is built through connection, through the imperfect and entangled nodes of our hedonic systems.
